Company Logo

I did the company logo for Sunhead Solar Power. The design was made to look like the company name was coming from the rays of the sun and going onto solar panels. To create the sun I used the polygon tool and played around with the settings until I had a shape that resembled the sun and its rays. I then placed the object so that only a quarter of it was showing on the logo. I then created the solar panels with the rectangle tool, and just made long skinny rectangles. I connected the three panels with the line tool.

Next, I grouped all of the objects in the panels together so that I could move them around easier. Last I created the text for the companyu name. I made it so that the text arched slightly, but was still facing the right way and very readable. I used a font that was fun and modern, like solar energy. Then I placed the text so that it looks like it is coming form the sun and falling onto the solar panels. Printing the logo out in different sizes shows that the logo looks good big or small.
